Hydraulic Presses for Sale in Australia

Power Machinery supplies the full Hidrogarne range of industrial hydraulic presses to Australian fabricators, manufacturers and maintenance workshops. Hidrogarne has more than 38 years of experience and builds over 50 press models, with capacities from 50 to 500 tonnes.

The range covers C-frame presses for stamping and punching, four-column presses for deep drawing and blanking, horizontal and gantry presses for straightening beams and welded structures, and double-column workshop presses for general pressing. Every press is built in Europe, CE compliant and designed for low maintenance. We help you choose the right press, then install it, train your operators and service it, with all servicing done by our own Power Machinery team.

Types of Hydraulic Press

The right press depends on the job, the size of the part and how often you run it. Here is how each Hidrogarne series fits.

C-Frame Hydraulic Press – CM/NC Series (50–150 tonnes)

A C-frame press is open on three sides, so operators can load and unload parts easily. The CM/NC series has an upper table guided by two cylindrical guides, which keeps the tooling parallel for accurate stamping, punching, die-cutting and deep drawing. A Siemens safety PLC lets you set stroke, force and dwell time and store up to 99 programs. View the C-Frame Hydraulic Press

Four-Column Stamping Press – M/NC Series (50–300 tonnes)

Four chrome-plated columns spread the load evenly across a large bed. This makes the M/NC series well suited to blanking, stamping, deep drawing and deburring where repeat accuracy matters. It comes in six capacities and uses the same programmable Siemens control and Type 4 PLe light curtains as the C-frame.

Horizontal Hydraulic Press – HV/NC Series (150–300 tonnes)

A horizontal hydraulic press pushes sideways instead of down. Long beams, bars and profiles lie flat on the table, so they are easier and safer to handle than in a vertical press. The HV/NC series is a cambering and straightening press, used to straighten and bend profiles, bars and beams. It accepts a range of tooling, which makes it a versatile machine for structural fabrication.

Gantry Straightening Press – T/NC Series (150–300 tonnes)

The T/NC series has a mobile gantry and a head that moves sideways. You can reach different pressing points on a large plate or welded structure without moving the part. It is designed for straightening welded structures and oxy-cut plate, and is operated by radio pendant.

Hydraulic Workshop Press – S Series (80–200 tonnes)

The S Series is a motorised double-column workshop press for general pressing, broaching, bushing and straightening. The bed adjusts to different heights, and it runs at up to 320 bar. Choose the SD model with a fixed head, or the SL model with a head that moves sideways.

Which Hydraulic Press do you need?

JOB PRESS TYPE HIDROGARNE SERIES CAPACITY
Stamping, punching, die-cutting C-frame CM/NC 50–150 t
Blanking and deep drawing Four-column M/NC 50-300 t
Straightening and bending beams, bars, profiles Horizontal HV/NC 150-300 t
Straightening welded structures and oxy-cut plate Gantry T/NC 150-300 t
Pressing bushes and bearings, broaching, general workshop Double-column workshop S Series 80-200 t
When sizing a press, consider:
  • Force: the tonnage your hardest job needs, plus some headroom.
  • Part size: bed size, daylight (opening height) and throat depth.
  • Volume: NC models store programs for repeat work; workshop presses suit one-off jobs.
  • Floor space and access: how parts will be loaded, including by crane or forklift.
Our team can calculate the tonnage for your parts and recommend the right model.

Custom Hydraulic Presses

If a standard model doesn’t fit, Hidrogarne builds custom presses to your specification. That includes special tonnage, bed sizes, strokes, tooling and automation. Power Machinery manages the whole process, from working out the specification with you to installation in your workshop.

Industries we Supply

Hidrogarne presses are used across Australian industries where accuracy, reliability and support matter.

  • Defence: straightening and forming welded structures, plate and profiles for defence fabrication. Power Machinery is a JOSCAR-AU registered supplier, and custom presses can be built to project requirements.
    Defence machinery.
  • Mining: workshop presses for pressing pins, bushes and bearings on heavy equipment, and straightening presses for repairing welded structures.
    Mining workshop machinery.
  • Aerospace and aviation: programmable stroke, force and dwell for repeatable forming and blanking, and workshop presses for bearing and bush work in maintenance facilities.
    Aerospace machinery.
  • Marine fabrication: horizontal and gantry presses for straightening beams, profiles, plate and welded sections in shipbuilding and repair.
    Marine workshop machinery.
  • Steel fabrication and manufacturing: stamping, punching, deep drawing and straightening for general fabrication.

Why Choose Hidrograne?

Hidrogarne specialises in hydraulic presses. Every press has a welded S355JR steel frame, stabilised and machined after welding for accurate parallelism. Cylinders are double-acting with chrome-plated pistons and maintenance-free guides. NC models use a Siemens S7-1200 safety PLC with a touchscreen and 99-program memory. All presses meet CE safety requirements.
