Arostop

Arostop is a Netherlands-based company specialising in advanced measuring systems. The company originated from Posthumus Machines, a well-established business founded in 1986. In 2018, Posthumus Machines developed its own length measuring system after being dissatisfied with the solutions available on the market. The system proved highly successful and, in July 2025, Arostop was established as an independent company.

The Arostop system is designed to prevent measurement and production errors while reducing both time and operational costs. It offers a measuring accuracy of up to 0.1 mm.

Arostop systems are compatible with all types of roller conveyors, although they have been specifically designed for MEP roller conveyors. As the official MEP dealer in Australia, Power Machinery is also the official Arostop dealer for the Australian market.

Arostop offers three versions of its system:

• M – Manual Length Measuring System – The operator manually sets the desired cutting length and positions the material against the stop plate.
• S – Semi-Automatic Stop System – The desired length is entered into the system, after which the stop automatically moves to the correct position. The material is then placed against the stop plate.
• A – (Semi-)Automatic Push-Up System – Multiple cutting lengths can be programmed into the system. The system then automatically positions the material, feeds it into the machine, and performs the cuts in the programmed sequence.
